Meet the tutor

My name is Tanya Joseph. I am the founder of Joseph Tutors and I am passionate about helping children to reach their full potential. I am a dedicated and highly experienced educator with a Bachelor of Primary Education (First Class) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with an ‘Outstanding’ grade. 

With 16 years of teaching experience across diverse educational settings in South Africa, Spain, and the UK, I have a wealth of knowledge and passion.

I am CELTA-qualified (with a Distinction pass) to teach English as a foreign language and hold a Diploma in Psychology, allowing me to support both academic and emotional development. 

My proven track record of pupil progress, combined with PSHE Leadership experience, highlights my ability to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where students can thrive academically and personally.

Additionally, I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate, ensuring a safe and secure learning experience for all.
